Why Appeal Your Student Grant?

Text enclosed in a black cirle "Been Refused or Incorrectly Assessed" with an orange graduation hat

Many students rely on Student Grants for their financial needs during studies.  It is important students appeal the outcome of their Grant Application if they believe their application has not been assessed correctly either in the assessing of the total reckonable household income or in the adjacent/non adjacent rate or if the student has a change in circumstances

Errors can Occur

Sometimes, errors can occur in decisions made on grant applications.  Whether it is on total reckonable household income, adjacent/non adjacent rate or a change in circumstances, if affected by such decisions, students must not sit back. Students are allowed to appeal the outcome of their student grant application if they are unhappy with the Awarding body’s decision.   Appeals are necessary and they must be lodged properly with  SUSI the awarding Student Grant body.   SusiAssist will guide you through the Appeals process and draft a sound compelling appeal on your individual case.
